I’m Slava, a tattoo artist working under the name Sugar.
I make black and grey chrome tattoos, inspired by metal jewellery — its weight, shine, and the way it sits on the body.
My work moves between familiar objects and abstract shapes. I pay attention to how each piece follows the body, finding the right balance between the design, its size, and its placement.
One client once told me, ‘Your tattoo makes me a little happier.’ That stayed with me.
